Detailed 10 Days best of Uganda gorilla and wildlife safari
Day 1: Airport pickup and transfer to Hotel in Entebbe
Our 10 Days best of Uganda gorilla and wildlife safari driver/guide will be waiting at Entebbe International Airport to pick you up and then transfer you to your accommodation for the overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Jinja for White Water Rafting
After breakfast, you will be transported to Jinja for white water rafting which offers either a full day or half-day option based on your preference. This white water rafting trip ranks among the most exhilarating in the world with a 31 km journey and ends with a fantastic barbecue lunch plus complimentary drinks.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibale National Park in western Uganda, the journey to Kibale National Park lasts approximately 8 hours with a lunch stopover in Fort Portal town. The journey through the Ugandan countryside reveals many small towns and villages along with tea farms and markets which together create a stunning landscape, you will arrive at Kibale with sufficient time to rest after your travel day.

Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National Park
The guide of your 10 Days best of Uganda gorilla and wildlife safari will transport you to Kibale National Park office right after breakfast to brief you about chimpanzee tracking in the wild before heading to the forest to start the tracking activity.
Park rangers will offer thorough explanations about both primates and other forest creatures and plants to make your walk is both educational and enjoyable, once you locate the chimpanzees you will have one full hour to observe them. You will then return to the lodge for lunch and refreshments.
After lunch, you will visit the community and as well take a walk through Bigodi Swamp which serves as the habitat for the great blue Turaco bird, and around 200 bird species plus 8 primate species. After these evening activities you will head back to the accommodation to have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Visit Caves, Crater Lakes and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth
The day begins an early breakfast, then proceed with a cultural tour to one of the historic ‘Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru’ caves which is located 10km outside Fort Portal town.
During the tour you will be joined by an experienced guide with extensive knowledge about this place. Bring with you a flashlight and hiking boots together with long trousers since you will entering in the caves. After exploring the area you will hike around the explosion crater lakes before heading back to Fort Portal town where you will enjoy lunch and tour the Tooro Kingdom Palace.
In the evening transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park while watching the mystical Rwenzori Mountain ranges transform.

Day 6: Game drive and Boat Cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Following breakfast you will embark on an early morning wildlife safari game drive throughout the park. Queen Elizabeth National Park contains grassy plains, tropical forests, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters which support a vast range of wildlife.
The massive Rwenzori Mountains create a stunning background as you gain excellent opportunities to observe lions, leopards, giant forest hogs, cape buffalos, elephants, defassa waterbuck, Uganda Kobs, Topi and bushbuck.
In the afternoon, you enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward.
The boat cruise provides excellent chances for taking photographs, bird watching and game viewing. The bird life here is both colorful and amazing supporting over 600 species.

Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast you will be transferred from Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park takes approximately 6 hours through the Kigezi Highlands which has earned the nickname “Switzerland of Africa”. You will have a lunchtime stopover in Kabale then proceed with the journey, after reaching bwindi you will check in to your lodge and spend the evening at leisure as you prepare for gorilla trekking the following day.

Day 8: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On this big day you will wake up early for breakfast then report to Bwindi Park headquarters for a briefing with the leader tracker/ranger guide before beginning your daily activity. Your next step will be entering the forest to meet the mountain gorillas.
Listen to the noises they make while they grumble and keep an eye on the young ones as they move from branch to branch. Discovering these endangered species gives you an extraordinary feeling, because their location depends on where they nested the night before. The tracking duration for gorillas can go from 4 to 7 hours or longer. After finding a gorilla group the observation time will be restricted to one hour then return to the park headquarters to collect your gorilla trekking certificate, after you will return to the lodge for relaxation.
In the late afternoon, you will take a walk to the community to visit the Batwa people who are the earliest inhabitants of the forest who continue to live there despite centuries of human civilization. Travel back to the lodge to enjoy dinner followed by an overnight stay.
Day 9: Transfer to Lake Mburo National park
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred from Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park to Lake Mburo national park. The distance will take approximately 7 hours with a stopover in Mbarara for lunch at Igongo cultural center.
You will arrive at the park early enough to participate in the evening game drive and a boat cruise on lake Mburo where you will see animals like Zebras, Elands, buffalos and oribi among others.

Day 10: Drive back to Entebbe
After breakfast in the morning, you will go for a wildlife safari walk in Lake Mburo National park. A ranger will escort you to make sure you are safe. You will come across herds of zebras peacefully grazing with the long-horned Ankole cattle.
After the walk you will return to the lodge for lunch then start the journey to kamapala, you will have a stopover in kayabwe at the Equator line crossing to take some photographs.
