3 Days Big 5 Safari Murchison Falls National Park Uganda

This safari takes you to Murchison Falls, where you can see the Big Five animals and enjoy an exciting boat ride to the bottom of the falls. Feel the power of the rushing water, see lots of wild animals during game drives, and visit the top of the falls. You’ll also go on a beautiful boat cruise along the River Nile.

Day 1: Pickup and transfer to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After breakfast, you will head to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a one hour walk to track rhinos. After the rhino tracking, you’ll continue the journey to Masindi and have a stopover for lunch. Then continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, you might see animals like elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hartebeests and lions. Before reaching your lodge, you’ll go on a short game drive. At the end of the day you’ll check in have dinner, and spend the night at the lodge.

Day 2: Early Morning Game Drive & Boat Cruise on the Nile

Today, get ready for an early start, as this is the best time to see wildlife. The animals are most active in the morning when it’s cooler and the sun isn’t too hot. After breakfast, head out for a game drive. This is a great chance to see animals like leopards, elephants, buffaloes, lions, giraffes, different kinds of antelopes, and many colorful birds. In the afternoon, you will go on a boat safari along the Nile River to visit Murchison Falls. As you ride along the river, watch for crocodiles, lots of hippos, buffaloes, monkeys, water birds, and other animals coming to drink from the river. After the boat ride, return to the lodge for dinner and a good night’s rest.

Day 3:  Visit Top of the falls and Transfer back to the Airport or Hotel

After breakfast, we will drive to the top of Murchison Falls to enjoy the amazing view of this natural wonder. From here, you can see the powerful Nile River squeeze through a narrow gap, creating a stunning waterfall. After this exciting experience, we will begin our journey back to Kampala or Entebbe, depending on your travel plans. We will drop you off at your hotel or take you straight to Entebbe Airport if you have a flight.
